Engineering details
  • Integrated dual rotary encoders, a 9-DOF IMU, and a thumb switch with an ESP32.
  • Wrote firmware to read calibrated sensor data and deliver finger-tracking data to a web platform.

02 / EXPERIENCE

Engineering in practice.

El Segundo, CA

Picogrid

Hardware Intern

Owned end-to-end mixed-signal PCB design for complex 8-layer boards, including controlled-impedance differential routing, signal-integrity analysis, and EMI mitigation.

Developed and brought up USB-C Power Delivery and STM32-based hardware through rapid prototyping and precision microsoldering. Scoped projects from requirements through prototype.

eXtended Reality

Full Team Lead

Lead a team of approximately 30 members building VR games, edge detection for Meta glasses, and haptic systems that map digital feedback to physical sensations.

Program microcontrollers in C/C++, integrate custom hardware with Oculus Quest 2 headsets, and build scent-release systems linked to virtual environments. Hosted information sessions with Valve and General Motors.
